Job summary

RSC2 Incorporated is seeking an IT Specialist to advise on IT components of a mixed IT/non-IT acquisition portfolio. You will analyze systems, applications, infrastructure, interfaces, data, and dependencies, translating findings into criteria, assessments, roadmaps, and decision-support products.

The role supports technical analysis and process development, coordinating with a multidisciplinary, mostly remote team, with some onsite NCR support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, information systems, CS, or related field.
• Three years of IT systems analysis or related experience preferred.
• Experience translating technical information for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Familiarity with federal acquisition, IT governance, or government IT environments is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze IT systems, applications, infrastructure, interfaces, data, and dependencies.
• Support development of technical criteria and documentation for acquisition pathways.
• Inventory and classify IT programs, contracts, and investments from government sources.
• Assess cybersecurity, privacy, and records-management considerations.
• Translate findings into recommendations and decision-support materials.
• Contribute to portfolio roadmaps, taxonomy, and performance measures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear, traceable technical information.
• Protect government information and comply with security requirements.
