Job summary

Medasource is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead application and technology workstreams for new healthcare facility construction and expansion projects. This remote, six-month assignment focuses on application builds, system implementations, and readiness activities to open new facilities—this is not a physical construction PM role.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years IT PM experience, 3+ years in healthcare, and PMP or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years IT project management experience.
• 3+ years healthcare industry experience.
• Experience managing large cross-functional programs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with multi-dependency projects and stakeholders.
• Thrives in structured, process-driven environments.
• Experience in healthcare regulatory/clinical/enterprise settings.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic or Cerner implementations preferred.
• Hands-on management of application builds/deployments for new facilities preferred.
• Experience with technology readiness for construction projects preferred.
• Experience with Google Workspace preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow PPM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead application-focused projects for new healthcare facilities and expansions.
• Drive execution to meet timelines, milestones and budgets.
• Coordinate activities across 30+ applications and clinical/technology teams.
• Manage plans, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Utilize ServiceNow PPM and Google Workspace tools.
• Follow PMO/PMI methodologies.
• Develop and maintain project Charters, RACIs, communications plans, test plans, and schedules.
• Create and manage budgets and resource plans.
• Facilitate meetings and document decisions and actions.
• Hold teams accountable for deliverables and dates.
• Identify risks and drive mitigation strategies.
• Provide status updates to portfolio, tower, and executive stakeholders.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage sub-projects and additional assignments as needed.
