Job summary

Orion Groups is seeking a Healthcare IT Project Manager to oversee construction-related application builds and go-live readiness for new facilities across the United States. The role focuses on the application and technology workstreams required to open facilities, including system implementations and operational readiness activities for an enterprise healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years IT PM experience, 3+ years in healthcare, PMP preferred, and strong communication,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 10+ years IT Project Management experience.
• 3+ years healthcare industry experience.
• Proven ability to manage large, cross-functional programs.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholder groups.
• Experience with PMI-based methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead application-focused projects for new healthcare facility construction and expansion.
• Drive project execution to meet timelines, milestones, and budget objectives.
• Coordinate activities across 30+ applications, clinical and technology teams.
• Develop and maintain project documentation: Charters, RACI, Communication Plans, Test Plans, Schedules.
• Create and manage project budgets and resource plans.
• Provide regular status updates to portfolio leaders and executives.
