Zen Educate Inc. is seeking an IT Operations & Security Lead to own internal IT systems and security as the organization scales. This remote role reports to the CTO and will be the first dedicated hire in the Business Systems team, shaping governance, automation and risk management.

You’ll implement identity, access controls, SaaS inventory and security processes, aiming for a defensible, scalable posture that supports teams across Canada, the US and Europe while enabling growth.

Responsibilities

• Identity and access management: Google Workspace, SSO, MFA, groups, least privilege.
• SaaS governance: map software estate, owners, access, costs, renewals.
• Security operations: policy development, incident handling, vulnerability management.
• Trust and compliance: security questionnaires, audit evidence, certifications.
• Device fleet management: apply secure baseline, patching, and remote provisioning.
