Lakeshore Learning is seeking a Manager of IT Security (Remote) to lead a security engineering team protecting our systems and data across vulnerability management, incident detection, response, and identity and access management. You will partner with senior leaders to shape security policies and drive risk reduction in a distributed environment.

The role is remote within the U.S. and requires strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on information security across multiple domains (vulnerability management, incident response, endpoint security, IAM)
• 2+ years in people management
• Experience securing on-premises and cloud environments
• Ability to communicate security risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience contributing to or executing security roadmaps within growing organizations

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of security engineers and analysts
• Oversee vulnerability management, incident detection and response, and IAM
• Drive multi-year security initiatives and translate strategy into execution
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain information security policies and programs
• Evaluate security technologies and lead implementation and improvement efforts
• Identify root causes of issues and guide the team to durable solutions
