Job summary

Cordance is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day IT operations, security tooling, and cross-unit support. You will own IT service management, MSP relationships, and identity/access governance across HQ and multiple business units.

The role balances central standards with unit-specific systems, ensuring SOC 2 and other security certifications are supported with robust evidence and control processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in IT operations or infrastructure.
• 3+ years leading IT operations or MSPs.
• Hands-on admin of Microsoft 365 / Entra ID and Google Workspace.
• Experience with an RMM and an EDR platform (NinjaOne / SentinelOne preferred).
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure IAM, landing zones.
• Proven track record managing outsourced helpdesk or MSP contracts.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 / ISO 27001 audits with technical evidence.
• Experience with IT across multiple business units or tenants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT service management across HQ and units, including SLAs and escalations.
• Manage identity, access, and device provisioning/removal across platforms.
• Maintain and update the IT Operations Runbook and escalation paths.
• Administer device management and EDR tooling, ensuring inventories reconcile.
• Lead IT/security integration projects moving units to HQ tooling and in-house support.
• Ensure compliance evidence and audit readiness for SOC 2/ISO 27001.
