Job summary

InStride Health is seeking a Manager of IT to bring technical depth, delivery structure, and systems health to the technology department. This remote role reports to the Senior Director of IT and drives sprint planning, ticket hygiene, SLAs, and project delivery while leading IT support specialists.

You will automate recurring manual work, establish reporting layers, and serve as the senior technical escalation point. Prioritize security and compliance in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations and systems administration with people management.
• Expertise in identity administration (RBAC, SSO/SCIM) and automation.
• Experience managing macOS fleet (~400 endpoints) with MDM and cloud platforms.
• Experience in HIPAA/SOC 2 compliant environments and security audits.
• Ability to build operational dashboards and data-driven leadership metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Team rhythms: sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, SLA tracking.
• Mentor and develop IT support staff.
• Serve as senior technical escalation point for complex issues.
• Own IAM platforms (Okta) and lifecycle provisioning automation.
• Manage cloud collaboration, MDM, and device deployment strategies.
• Oversee Zoom Phone, Slack, Jira Service Management configurations.
• Create automated self-service workflows for onboarding.
• Build IT dashboards and cost controls for SaaS licenses.
• Coordinate with Security for access reviews and audits.
• Explore AI capabilities to improve throughput while staying compliant.
• Collaborate with HR/Clinical/Engineering to manage onboarding/offboarding and runbooks.
