Job summary

The University of Minnesota seeks an IT Manager for the Office of Research Information Systems (ORIS) within the Research & Innovation Office (RIO). You will lead a team of IT professionals focusing on Business/Systems Analysis and Project Management, ensuring stable IT operations and alignment with organizational priorities.

You will partner with ORIS leadership to shape the IT roadmap, foster a high-trust culture, and support research and innovation goals across campuses.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus at least six years of experience, or master's degree plus at least four years of experience.
• Leadership and supervision experience in Business/Systems Analytics and/or Project Management.
• Experience in administrative operations and/or personnel administration.
• Experience working with service request ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and develop IT professionals in Business/Systems Analytics and Project Management under the ORIS Director.
• Oversee staffing, performance reviews, and employee development initiatives.
• Ensure IT operations stability, reporting, and SLA adherence.
