Job summary

University of Minnesota seeks an IT Manager for the Office of Research Information Systems (ORIS) within the Research & Innovation Office (RIO). You will lead a team of IT professionals focusing on BA/Systems Analysis and Project Management, ensuring stable IT operations and contributing to the broader IT roadmap in support of university research and innovation.

Qualifications

BA/BS plus at least six years of experience, or master's degree plus at least four years of experience.
Leadership and supervision experience in Business/Systems Analytics and/or Project Management.
Experience in administrative operations and/or personnel administration
Experience working with service request ticketing systems

Responsibilities

Manage and develop IT professionals with skills primarily in Business/Systems Analysis and Project Management.
Oversee staffing, performance reviews, and staff development.
Ensure the stability and SLA achievement of IT operations; manage tickets and reporting.
Define the IT roadmap with ORIS leadership and align with organizational goals.
Support professional development and participate in meetings and training.
Lead additional projects to advance institutional research goals.
