Job summary

Dexcom seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst and Planner to design, maintain, and optimize infrastructure for a regulated medical devices environment in a fully remote capacity. You will collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, information security, and regulatory teams to ensure scalable, compliant systems.

The role emphasizes strategic roadmapping, cost analysis, vendor negotiations, and risk management, with a strong focus on achieving uptime, cost efficiency, and compliance metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of IT infrastructure planning experience, with manufacturing/regulatory exposure preferred.
• Strong financial analysis, vendor management, and IT risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain a strategic roadmap for IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud, and storage to support all business areas.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and prepare budgets for IT infrastructure investments with ROI focus.
• Lead virtual meetings and workshops to align IT infrastructure with manufacturing, R&D, and regulatory goals.
• Evaluate vendor quotes and manage external partners to meet cost and performance standards.
• Identify IT risks (cybersecurity, data integrity) and implement mitigation aligned with HIPAA/GDPR and regulations.
• Oversee infrastructure upgrades and migrations remotely; ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Maintain documentation for audits including risk assessments and vendor evaluations.
