Job summary

AMSURG is seeking an IT Implementation Engineer for remote-first IT services. The role collaborates with Center Leadership and IT teams to plan, execute, and transition IT support, including moving to AMSURG Managed IT Services and cloud-based solutions.

You will design Microsoft 365 and Azure deployments, document environments, and ensure secure, scalable configurations across centers nationwide. Flexibility with schedule is required for occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• Ability to work remote-first with flexible hours as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication are required.
• Detail oriented and able to work with others in a team.

Responsibilities

• Build relationship with Center Leadership and IT providers.
• Evaluate IT security and contracts; provide guidance.
• Conduct site visits to plan migration to AMSURG IT Services.
• Create documentation for Center configuration and systems.
• Architect, build and secure Microsoft 365 and Azure strategy.
• Monitor Azure Subscription to stay within budget guidelines.
