Job summary

Terrestris is seeking a TemporaryRemote Help Desk Specialist to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Investigation) (CI) nationwide. The role focuses on remote IT help desk support for thousands of users across multiple offices, handling tickets and guiding users through self-service options.

You will manage user accounts, install systems, troubleshoot hardware and software, and document resolutions in ServiceNow while providing timely assistance via chat, phone, and email.

Qualifications

US citizenship required.
1+ year of IT help desk support experience.
Proficiency with desktop and laptop hardware and operating systems.
Ability to work remotely from home.
Associate degree in IT preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide remote support to US staff and CI customers.
Aid in user account management and access permissions.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
Install systems and software in customer environments.
Follow knowledge articles and document resolutions in the ticketing system.
Escalate issues as needed.
