Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking an IT Help Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for technical support and system access requests. This role emphasizes security-first access management and responsive issue resolution to support business operations.

You will assist with provisioning and de-provisioning access, handling end-user issues, and maintaining documentation while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Security-conscious with access control experience.
• Customer-facing IT support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support and access requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Provision and de-provision system access per least privilege and RBAC.
• Coordinate and perform tier2 fixes for software, hardware, and network issues.
• Support mixed environments: Windows, iOS, tablets, laptops, desktops, AV systems.
• Escalate issues to appropriate IT teams and ensure SLAs are met.
• Maintain and update internal IT procedures and documentation.
