Job summary

The Landline Company is hiring a Manager, IT Compliance & Vendor Management to lead its cybersecurity control program and oversee the MSP delivering daily IT operations. The role ensures regulatory and internal risk requirements are met within a transportation-enabled tech platform.

Remote work in a major metro area in the United States or Canada is supported, with travel as needed. Compensation ranges from 120,000 to 175,000 USD per year, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in IT compliance, information security, IT audit, or IT governance.
• Experience implementing or operating a recognized security framework (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls).
• Experience administering a GRC/compliance automation platform (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe, LogicGate, AuditBoard, ServiceNow GRC).
• Experience managing outsourced IT providers with SLAs, monitoring, and escalation.
• Ability to read SOC 2 Type II reports critically, including scope, exceptions, and controls.
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP are a plus.
• Direct NIST CSF 2.0 implementation experience, especially GV.SC, is a strong plus.
• Experience in transportation or regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the control set mapped to NIST CSF 2.0 across Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover.
• Administer the Vanta GRC platform, including integrations and evidence collection.
• Perform periodic control testing and drive remediation to closure with owners and due dates.
• Own the policy lifecycle from drafting to attestation tracking.
• Maintain the enterprise risk register and provide executive reporting.
• Coordinate evidence for customer security reviews and external audits.
• Lead MSP relationship, contract lifecycle, and service delivery governance.
• Oversee access administration and MSP-driven controls.
• Chair quarterly business reviews with the MSP and track commitments.
• Deliver recurring compliance and vendor performance reports to leadership.
