Job summary

Wilson Sonsini is seeking an IT Communications & Vendor Specialist to develop, execute, and manage internal IT communications strategies and oversee the vendor management lifecycle. This role acts as the bridge between IT and the broader firm, ensuring clear, audience-appropriate communications during technology deployments and ongoing updates.

Based in a fully remote capacity, you will collaborate with IT leadership, attorneys, and administration to align messaging with change management plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of professional communications experience in a technology or professional services environment.
• Experience with AI productivity tools preferred.
• Advanced Smartsheet experience preferred.
• Law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal IT communications plans for technology projects and system upgrades.
• Draft, edit, and distribute IT announcements, advisories, and executive briefings.
• Manage IT communication channels including intranet pages and email distributions.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to tailor messaging for all audiences.
• Coordinate vendor management activities and maintain vendor documentation.
• Track renewal timelines and prepare communications for vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure communications align with change management timelines and readiness reviews.
• Maintain consistent IT communications voice and brand identity across channels.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance content creation, distribution, and analytics.
