Job summary

Primordial Labs is hiring its first dedicated IT, Cloud & Security Administrator to run the technology that keeps a fully remote team productive and secure. You will own IT day to day and secure two environments: Microsoft 365 corporate IT and AWS cloud, reporting to leadership with a path to IT & Security Lead as the company scales.

You’ll be the hands-on owner of IT operations, supporting a distributed team, implementing least-privilege access, and driving security and compliance across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on IT administration or systems support.
• Experience administering AWS including IAM, AWS Organizations, EC2, and S3.
• Direct experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Experience supporting remote and distributed teams.
• Hands-on experience with security fundamentals, including identity and access management, endpoint protection, and incident response.
• Experience administering a portfolio of SaaS tools, including access, licensing, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT needs for a distributed team.
• Own two environments: corporate IT in Microsoft 365 and AWS cloud.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to secure cloud resources and document processes.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents; enforce MFA, encryption, patching, and least-privilege access.
• Support compliance efforts (CMMC/NIST 800-171) and assist audits and security questionnaires.
• Define IT roadmap and manage vendors and IT purchasing.
