The instructor will design, update, and align materials to CIAT standards, maintain current certifications, and support student success in adult learning environments.

Qualifications

• Certification-focused IT training delivery with certification readiness emphasis.
• Minimum of one year of training experience, ideally bootcamps.
• Advanced subject matter expertise; synchronous online teaching preferred.
• Curriculum development and instructional design for IT certification bootcamps.
• Familiarity with CertMaster, TestOut, or similar tools; strong presentation skills.
• Strong MS Office and Canvas proficiency; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams.
• Flexibility to teach evenings and weekends based on course schedule.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement.
• Align instructional strategies with adult learner framework and certification readiness.
• Modify instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Communicate subject matter effectively in synchronous online format.
• Maintain current certifications through renewal.
• Design, update, and align course materials with college standards; select materials aligning with objectives.
• Review course material for accuracy; provide improvement recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards for instructional quality.
• Adhere to policies; maintain student databases; collaborate with staff; participate in new initiatives.
• Follow attire guidelines and FERPA compliance; handle student data securely.
