Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Lead IT Automation Engineer to join a team delivering automation and DevOps solutions for a Finance & Insurance leader. You will guide architecture, design, and delivery to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency across hosting environments.

Remote role (US-based candidates only). Compensation ranges from $107,060 to $159,390 annually, with a bonus plan and comprehensive benefits. Experience with Python, Terraform, AWS, and OpenShift is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Arts/Sciences or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience developing application hosting architectures using containers and automation.
Advanced ability to design scalable, secure, performant, and cost-effective solutions.
Advanced skills in customer relationship management and change management.
Experience with cloud platforms and SaaS solutions preferred.
LOMA certification preferred.
Python development experience required; JavaScript or TypeScript experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the architecture, design, and development of automation and DevOps solutions
Develop automation and application solutions using Python
Support application and infrastructure deployments using Terraform across AWS and OpenShift
Evaluate and recommend technology products for business needs
Research and design best-fit solutions, ensuring quality and change control standards
Conduct root cause investigations and provide preventative recommendations
Document processes, procedures, and best practices
