Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Lead IT Automation Engineer to join a team delivering automation and DevOps solutions for a Finance & Insurance leader. You will guide architecture, design, and delivery to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency across hosting environments.

Remote role (US-based candidates only). Compensation ranges from $107,060 to $159,390 annually, with a bonus plan and comprehensive benefits. Experience with Python, Terraform, AWS, and OpenShift is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Arts/Sciences or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience developing application hosting architectures using containers and automation.
• Advanced ability to design scalable, secure, performant, and cost-effective solutions.
• Advanced skills in customer relationship management and change management.
• Experience with cloud platforms and SaaS solutions preferred.
• LOMA certification preferred.
• Python development experience required; JavaScript or TypeScript experience preferred.

For our client, we are seeking a Lead IT Automation Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will guide the architecture, design, and delivery of automation and DevOps solutions that improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency across application hosting environments. You will partner with teams across the organization to develop secure, cost-effective solutions, support cloud and container-based deployments, and strengthen operational best practices. The position also includes root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and process documentation to help drive continuous improvement.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $107,060 – $159,390 annually
