Job summary

DecisionPoint seeks a Journeyman Asset Manager to oversee IT asset lifecycle management, equipment accountability, inventory accuracy, maintenance records, audit support, and disposition activities for the USMEPCOM ENLIST program.

The Asset Manager will support Hand Receipt Holders and the USMEPCOM Property Book Office in maintaining accurate records for Government-Furnished Property and other assets covered by the task order.

Qualifications

• Experience managing IT assets lifecycle from procurement to disposition (DoD context preferred).
• Ability to maintain accurate hardware/software records and serial data.
• Strong auditing and reconciliation capabilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT assets lifecycle: acquisition, receipt, deployment, maintenance, transfer, refresh, recovery, and disposition.
• Maintain records for hardware, software, network equipment, and Government-Furnished Property.
• Support Hand Receipt Holders and Property Book Office with DoD accountability requirements.
• Coordinate with property records, inventory, discrepancies, and disposition procedures.
• Maintain asset identifiers, serial numbers, ownership, locations, status, and lifecycle dates.
• Prepare Asset Audit Reports and contribute to Monthly Status Reports.
