Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking an IT professional to design, implement, and support internal applications and systems across a healthcare IT environment. You will oversee development, testing, and delivery, collaborating with senior staff to tailor solutions to business needs.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects. Remote work is available with occasional on-site go-lives and an on-call rotation approximately one week

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, finance, clinical field or related field is required or four years of relevant work experience.
• Eight years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or a six-year degree equivalent is acceptable.
• Proven experience in IT application design, development, and delivery in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update internal IT applications per specifications and business needs.
• Collaborate with end users to define requirements and tailor systems accordingly.
• Lead small to mid-size projects with oversight and provide application implementation support.
