Job summary

GovCIO is hiring an Information Technology Specialist/Multimedia Developer to support the development and modernization of interactive U.S. Navy training products. The role is remote, with occasional alignment to Navy training standards and GCAT readiness, delivering high-quality multimedia courseware.

You will transform instructional designs into engaging IMI, develop Level 2+ training solutions, and ensure LMS integration and SCORM compliance across browsers and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
• Experience developing interactive multimedia or web-based training products.
• Proficiency with Adobe Captivate or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and web development technologies.
• Experience packaging, validating, and troubleshooting SCORM.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and course deployment.
• Ability to translate storyboards into functional multimedia products.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Transform approved instructional designs into Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI).
• Develop IMI Level 2+ training solutions using modern authoring environments.
• Create native HTML5 content for customized interactions.
• Integrate training products with Government LMS and SCORM packaging.
• Coordinate with Technical Lead and Instructional Designers to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Prepare products for GCAT and QA testing; fix issues across environments.
• Maintain source-file configuration and development asset control.
• Support graphics, animation, and other digital training requirements.
