Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an Information Technology Specialist/Multimedia Developer to support the development and modernization of interactive U.S. Navy training products.

The role is remote with potential Pensacola, FL assignments and involves multimedia authoring, web development, and LMS integration. You will transform scripts and storyboards into interactive multimedia instruction, build IMI Level 2+ solutions, and ensure SCORM compliance while collaborating with instructional designers and QA

Qualifications

• Clearance required: Secret.
• Experience transforming instructional designs into multimedia training products.
• Proficiency with Adobe Captivate or similar authoring tools.
• Strong HTML5 and web development knowledge.
• Experience with SCORM packaging, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and online course deployment.
• Ability to translate storyboards into functional multimedia products.
• Collaborative and detail-oriented with good time management.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust access for Navy networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive multimedia training products from approved scripts and storyboards.
• Build IMI Level 2+ interactive training solutions using modern authoring environments.
• Create courseware with tools such as Adobe Captivate and similar platforms.
• Develop native HTML5 content to support custom instructional interactions.
• Integrate multimedia training with Government Learning Management Systems.
• Package and validate courseware per SCORM requirements and GCAT readiness.
• Troubleshoot SCORM, LMS, browser, and integration issues across environments.
• Work with Instructional Designers to align multimedia with objectives and storyboards.
• Maintain source-file configuration control and development assets.
• Support graphics, animation, and other digital training needs while meeting schedules.
