Job summary

GovCIO is hiring an Information Technology Specialist/Multimedia Developer to support the development and modernization of interactive U.S. Navy training products. The role is fully remote and will involve transforming storyboards into engaging IMI with HTML5 content and SCORM packaging.

You will integrate with Government LMS, collaborate with instructional designers, and ensure QA, GCAT readiness, and cross-platform compatibility across environments.

Qualifications

• Clearance Required: Secret.
• Relevant professional experience to meet contract labor-category requirements.
• Experience developing interactive multimedia or web-based training products.
• Experience using interactive authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and web-based development technologies.
• Experience with SCORM packaging, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and online course deployment.
• Experience translating instructional storyboards into functional multimedia products.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust access.

Responsibilities

• Transform approved instructional designs into Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI).
• Develop IMI Level 2+ interactive training solutions.
• Create courseware using Adobe Captivate and similar platforms.
• Develop native HTML5 content for customized interactions.
• Collaborate with the Technical Lead on complex multimedia solutions.
• Integrate training products with Government LMS and SCORM systems.
• Package and validate content per SCORM requirements.
• Support GCAT testing and QA prior to submission.
• Ensure compatibility across required environments and platforms.
• Maintain source-file configuration and development assets.
