Job summary

CompQsoft Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to provide cyber security support for Naval Sea Systems Command. The position is remote with onboarding travel to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, NH in the second week.

The candidate must hold an active DoD Secret clearance and a CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent. Responsibilities include leading security control implementation, RMF activities, risk assessments, and collaboration with the AO/SCA.

Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Willingness to travel 2nd week of onboarding to PNSY.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and maintenance of system CS solutions.
• Lead security control implementation and testing efforts.
• Perform vulnerability-level risk assessments on POA&M/RISK worksheets.
• Assist in security testing for A&A or annual reviews.
• Record and manage test data and ensure RMF artifacts are complete.
• Coordinate with AO/SCA and maintain eMASS documentation.
