Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer to support NIWC Atlantic in Charleston, SC. This full-time CONUS position requires an active DoD Top-Secret clearance and hands-on RMF implementation across IT and space environments.

You will integrate cybersecurity into system architectures, develop and maintain SSP/POA&M artifacts, and collaborate with engineers, ISSM/ISSO staff, and government stakeholders to ensure compliant, secure systems.

Qualifications

• Experience applying RMF and security controls across lifecycles.
• Knowledge of DIACAP and DoD guidance.
• Experience supporting large defense/space environments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate cybersecurity into system architectures across the lifecycle.
• Engineer, implement, and validate security controls per RMF and DoD guidance.
• Prepare RMF artifacts: SSP, SAP/SAR, POA&M, continuous monitoring.
