Job summary

Data Intelligence, LLC is seeking a full-time Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support its NSWC-PD Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. This on-site role requires an active security clearance (secret or higher) and strong Windows/Linux system administration skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant system administration experience.
• Strong Windows and Linux administration skills.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation (ACAS/Nessus).
• STIG implementation, assessment, and remediation experience.
• System patching and software maintenance experience.
• Experience creating, maintaining, or updating system images.
• Scripting experience for admin/automation tasks.
• Experience with system backup and recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform ACAS vulnerability scanning and remediation.
• Patch, maintain, and update system software.
• Implement, maintain, and remediate STIGs.
• Research, evaluate, and test mitigation strategies for cybersecurity risks.
• Create, maintain, and update system images.
• Develop scripts to automate admin tasks.
• Maintain inventories of system hardware and software.
• Perform system backup and recovery activities.
• Support network cabling and related connectivity.
• Provide input for software installation and configuration, including DOORS.
• Perform Windows system administration.
• Perform Linux system administration.
• Complete recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks.
• Prepare monthly status updates.
• Support additional sysadmin and cybersecurity engineering activities.
