Job summary

CompQsoft, Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support DoD cybersecurity efforts as part of the Naval Sea Systems Command program. This full-time role offers remote work with travel to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, NH during onboarding and as required.

The ideal candidate holds CompTIA Security+ CE, active clearance, and strong communication skills to lead security control implementation, testing, and RMF activities across the system lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have CompTIA Security+, active clearance, good communication.
• Willing to travel 2nd week of onboarding to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY).
• Past ISSE on Navy eMass Projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and maintenance of a system's CS solutions.
• Lead the security control implementation and testing efforts.
• Perform vulnerability risk assessments and remediate POA&M findings.
• Record and manage test data in eMASS and related artifacts.
