Job summary

Dragonfly Health is seeking an IPU Technician to support hospice patients remotely from PA or TN. You will build and maintain medication profiles, review orders, and coordinate with hospices and pharmacies to ensure timely, accurate medication services.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and data-entry accuracy. Ideal candidates hold a PA/TN pharmacy technician license and 1+ year of data-entry experience, with 3+ years in pharmacy or managed care preferred.

Qualifications

2+ years of pharmacy technician data entry experience.
Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit design, formularies and claim adjudication.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; CPhT/EXCPT preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain accurate medication profiles and MARs for IPU patients.
Understand IPU model variations and profiling requirements for hospice partners.
Review and process faxed medication orders independently, ensuring timely follow-up.
Contact hospices to obtain or clarify prescription information and document interactions.
Maintain accurate and precise call log documentation for all interactions.
Coordinate with local pharmacies on claim adjudication for emergency needs.
