Job summary

Dragonfly Health is seeking an IPU Pharmacy Technician to join our expanding hospice and post-acute team. You will accurately enter prescription data, build medication profiles and MARs for IPU patients, and coordinate with hospices and local pharmacies to ensure timely processing.

Ideal candidates hold a PA or TN Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT) and have 2+ years of data entry experience, with knowledge of PBM and benefits design.

Qualifications

• Current PA or TN Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license preferred and in good standing.
• 2+ years of pharmacy technician data entry experience; managed care or PBM experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit design, formulary concepts and claim adjudication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented and quality focused.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform prescription data entry.
• Build and maintain accurate medication profiles and MARs for IPU patients.
• Understand and apply IPU model variations and profiling requirements for hospice partners.
• Review and process faxed medication orders independently; ensure timely follow-up.
• Contact hospices to obtain or clarify prescription information and document interactions.
• Maintain call logs and documentation for all interactions.
• Coordinate with local pharmacies on claim adjudication for emergency needs.
