Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated IPCE program specialist to lead the development and implementation of interprofessional continuing education activities. You will collaborate with directors, planners, and coordinators across the enterprise to ensure JA criteria and Advocate Health policies are met.

The role emphasizes independent decision-making on credit approval, instructional design improvements, and robust outcomes evaluation using surveys and learner assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3 years of experience in continuing education/healthcare.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with accreditation processes and JA criteria.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and implementation of IPCE activities across the enterprise to meet JA criteria and Advocate Health policies.
• Identifies opportunities to advance IPCE programs with best practices in instructional design and inter-professional education.
• Makes independent credit decisions for IPCE activities based on accreditation criteria.
• Provides training and coaching to coordinators and planners in JA development and materials creation.
• Manages evaluation of educational outcomes; designs surveys and assessments; presents results to planning teams and leadership.
• Collects and approves accreditation documentation including disclosures, COI mitigation, and content reviews.
• Manages IPCE activities through the online learning management system; builds education, reports to accrediting bodies, and trains staff to use the platform.
