Job summary

Moog is seeking an Inventory Planning & Control Manager to govern inventory policy across the Commercial Materials network and align IBP processes with delivery requirements and working capital goals.

You will optimize global inventory levels, establish targets, and drive risk-based decisions while coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role requires aerospace/defense exposure, ERP/MRP proficiency, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in inventory analysis, financial analysis, or data reporting.
• Experience with IBP and balancing demand/supply, planning, forecasting, and inventory control.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems; SAP preferred; SAP S/4HANA and Kinaxis a plus.
• Ability to analyze variances, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Advanced Excel, pivot tables, and data analysis for BOM decisions.
• Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing including AS9100, lot traceability, export compliance preferred.
• Certifications like APICS CPIM/CSCP, CPM, or PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own governance of inventory policy and planning across the materials network.
• Develop targets, safety stock, min/max, reorder points, and data accuracy across systems.
• Represent inventory in IBP process with projections and risk assessments.
• Drive material availability and ITP decisions to align with plans.
• Monitor KPIs and provide executive dashboards on turns, days of supply, and fill rates.
• Identify inventory risks and escalate mitigations.
• Collaborate with Global Materials, Operations, Supply Chain, and Programs to address constraints.
• Own cycle count governance and continuous improvement of inventory costs and accuracy.
