Job summary

Once Upon a Farm is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage daily inventory transactions and support month-end close. This remote-friendly role partners with co-manufacturers, analyzes variances, and maintains dashboards for planning, procurement, and logistics.

You will close work orders weekly, monitor automation platform transactions, and help strengthen internal controls while thriving in a high-growth, purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting/finance or related field.
• 3+ years in inventory management or warehouse ops in CPG or food.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Proactive, hands-on with strong communication and problem solving.
• Solid Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Comfort with MS Suite, Outlook, Slack and related tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Process consumption and production inventory for co-manufacturers.
• Investigate variances in book-to-book processes and resolve them.
• Analyze usage variances for work orders and close work orders weekly.
• Oversee transactions for co-manufacturer in the automation platform.
• Support month-end and year-end inventory reconciliations.
• Maintain inventory reports and dashboards for planning, procurement, logistics.
• Collaborate with co-manufacturers to reconcile inventory data.
• Support accounting policies, internal controls, and system implementations.
• Assist with other activities as priorities dictate.
