Job summary

RAW Nutrition is seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee accuracy, control, costing, planning, and reporting across the organization. This role ensures records reflect physical inventory, investigates discrepancies, and collaborates with Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, and Accounting.

This is a remote role open to United States residents, with preference for Central and Eastern time zones.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of inventory management experience in CPG or related field.
• Experience with 3PLs or co-packers.
• Experience with lot tracking, expiration dates, FIFO/FEFO.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets; experience with an ERP system.
• Ability to build or improve processes; startup mindset.
• Analytical skills; cross-functional communication.
• Attention to detail with prioritization under urgency.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory accuracy across warehouses, 3PLs, and internal sites.
• Monitor balances and investigate discrepancies between ERP records, warehouse systems, and physical inventory.
• Develop, manage, and execute cycle count and physical inventory programs.
• Research inventory variances and identify the root cause of discrepancies.
• Coordinate inventory adjustments and ensure appropriate documentation and approval.
• Reconcile inventory movements including receipts, transfers, fulfillments, returns, assemblies, adjustments, and write-offs.
• Partner with warehouse and 3PL teams to resolve receiving, shipping, and inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor aged, damaged, expired, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
• Assist in developing disposition plans for obsolete or non-sellable inventory.
• Review negative inventory, inventory shortages, duplicate transactions, and unusual inventory activity.
• Maintain accurate SKU, item, location, and inventory-related master data.
• Ensure inventory transactions are processed accurately and timely within the ERP system.
