Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Specialist for a fully remote role in the Logistics & Warehousing sector. You will ensure data accuracy across multiple warehouse facilities, conduct cycle counts, and manage stock levels while implementing inventory control procedures.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, meticulous data management, and knowledge of inventory management best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory control or stock management.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
• Proficiency with IMS and MS Office (Excel).
• Excellent analytical and accuracy-focused mindset.
• Remote work ability with good communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent; supply chain coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of stock records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor stock levels and generate reports on inventory status, turnover, and valuation.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures and policies.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
• Collaborate with warehouse and purchasing teams to manage stock replenishment.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory items.
• Assist in the implementation and utilization of inventory management systems (IMS).
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend appropriate actions.
• Generate reports on inventory accuracy, adjustments, and shrinkage.
