Jobgether is seeking an Inventory Disposition Specialist for a remote role based in the United States. You will drive inventory optimization by identifying recovery opportunities for excess and obsolete materials, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and negotiating optimal disposition channels.

You will analyze inventory data, validate shelf life, and develop compliant strategies to maximize financial recovery while minimizing waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in inventory management, supply chain, operations, materials management, inventory optimization, or disposition management.
• Experience reducing excess/obsolete inventory while maximizing financial recovery and minimizing waste.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, aging analysis, ERP systems, and material disposition processes; SAP experience preferred.
• Experience evaluating financial trade-offs, recovery alternatives, and business cases.

Responsabilités

• Monitor ERP and inventory data to identify excess, obsolete, slow-moving, or expired materials requiring action.
• Validate inventory quantities, condition, availability, and shelf life with site teams.
• Develop inventory recovery channels through customers, brokers, distributors, and other avenues.
• Coordinate with Sales to assess demand, commercial opportunities, and approvals.
• Develop compliant disposition strategies that maximize financial recovery and minimize waste.
• Maintain relationships with recovery partners and market channels to improve outcomes.
• Own disposition opportunities from identification through completion with action plans and metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to avoid bottlenecks and protect inventory value.
• Evaluate recovery alternatives considering proceeds, logistics, and costs.
