Job summary

Pinterest is seeking an International Accountant to oversee the financial integrity of its international subsidiaries and drive automation-first improvements across global accounting operations.

With 5+ years in accounting, you will manage multi-currency close processes, intercompany activity, and FX impacts while partnering with tax, legal, FP&A, and Treasury to ensure SOX compliance and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years in accounting, ideally in public/corporate with SOX.
• Experience with ERP systems and large data sets.
• Experience with audits (external/internal).
• Ability to leverage AI and automation to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle accounting for international subsidiaries with multi-currency entries.
• Identify and deploy automation-first opportunities and AI-led workflows.
• Oversee statutory filings and local GAAP to US GAAP reconciliations with tax/legal teams.
• Provide strategic insights to FP&A and Treasury on OpEx trends.
• Support external audits with timely, well-documented information.
• Manage special projects to support rapid company growth.
