Job summary

UNISCO is seeking a hands-on Vice President of Accounting to lead global accounting operations across fulfillment and transportation businesses. The role emphasizes accelerating AI adoption and automation to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability in the transactional accounting stack.

Responsibilities include leading pre-audit processes, billing, invoicing, AR/collections, AP, and financial close, while steering the AI adoption roadmap and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience including controller-level ownership.
• Experience leading AP, GL, close, financial statements, billing, and AR/collections.
• Fluency with AI platforms and GPT-based tools applied to accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pre-Audit, billing, invoicing, AR/collections, AP, GL, payroll oversight, and financial close.
• Own the AI adoption roadmap for Accounting, modeling GPT-based analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Identify, pilot, and scale automation for high-volume workflows (pre-audit, invoicing, cash application, AP, journals).
• Partner with IT and Automation Engineering to implement AI-enabled systems, RPA, dashboards, and control-oriented workflows.
• Lead a distributed accounting team across the U.S., Philippines, and China to improve DSO, billing accuracy, AP timeliness, and close-cycle time.

UNISCO seeks a hands-on Vice President of Accounting to lead global accounting operations across fulfillment and transportation businesses. A core mandate is accelerating AI adoption and automation to improve accuracy, speed, control, and scalability across the transactional accounting stack.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pre-Audit, billing, invoicing, AR/collections, AP, GL, payroll oversight, and financial close.
• Own the AI adoption roadmap for Accounting, personally modeling use of GPT-based tools for analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and decision support.
• Identify, pilot, and scale automation for high-volume workflows, including pre-audit matching, invoicing, cash application, AP processing, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Partner with IT and Automation Engineering to implement AI-enabled systems, RPA, integrations, dashboards, and control-oriented workflows.
• Lead a high-performing distributed accounting team across the U.S., Philippines, and China while improving DSO, billing accuracy, AP timeliness, and close-cycle time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller-level ownership.
• Experience leading AP, GL, close, financial statements, billing, and AR/collections.
• Demonstrated success in high-volume transactional accounting environments.
• Working fluency with AI platforms and GPT-based tools, with experience applying them to accounting analysis or operations.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience leading offshore or distributed accounting teams, particularly in the Philippines and/or China.
• Background in 3PL, logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled accounting platforms, RPA, intelligent document processing, or system integrations.
• Experience with TMS/WMS-adjacent billing tools and ERP/accounting systems.
