Job summary

Pinterest is hiring a Technical Accounting Manager I to join the Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting team. You will research and advise on complex accounting matters, develop accounting policies, and support Pinterest’s external reporting.

You’ll leverage AI and automation to build scalable processes and resources, while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. You’ll collaborate with Accounting Operations, Finance, Legal, Real Estate, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Requires CPA certification and a degree in accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including public accounting or at a publicly traded company.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and complex guidance (ASC 842, ASC 718, ASC 350, ASC 360, ASC 450).

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and analyze transactions to determine accounting treatment under US GAAP.
• Research technical accounting matters and prepare clear memoranda, policies, and guidance.
• Serve as a technical accounting resource to internal stakeholders and provide training.
