Job summary

Cetera Financial Group's Field Sales Representative, NFG, is a remote role servicing the Northwest region. The position focuses on growing relationships with agencies, agents, and advisors, supporting annuity and life insurance products, and coordinating with Regional Sales and Relationship Managers.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in financial services, FINRA licensing, and the ability to travel up to 25% while educating partners and maintaining CRM records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years in financial services or insurance distribution.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7, 63 licenses required or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of life or annuity products and sales pipeline management.
• Ability to work independently and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a constant new business pipeline by building relationships with agencies, agents, advisors, and partner firms and expanding engagement across NFG Brokerage product lines.
• Serve as a central point of contact within the assigned territory, providing proactive outreach for quote activity, sales opportunities, product education, and case follow-up.
• Provide product analysis, illustration support, case design guidance, underwriting navigation, and competitive positioning across annuity, life insurance, long-term care, and disability insurance solutions.
• Partner with Regional Sales and Relationship Managers on territory planning, strategic account development, advisor engagement, regional events, and field opportunities.
• Independently identify, re-engage, and develop dormant agencies, agents, and advisor relationships to increase activity and uncover new sales opportunities.
• Recommend appropriate products, features, and support resources based on account needs and business goals.
• Onboard and educate new agents and advisors on NFG Brokerage products and processes.
• Travel within the assigned region to support agency and advisor meetings, training sessions, and field events.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation and pipeline reporting for visibility across internal teams.
• Collaborate with sales teams and other stakeholders to resolve issues and progress cases.
