Job summary

Cetera Financial Group is seeking a Field Sales Representative to develop and grow relationships with agencies, agents, advisors, and partner firms within an assigned territory across multiple product lines. The role focuses on proactive outreach, case support, and product education to drive regional sales growth.

You will travel within the Northwest region and collaborate with Regional Sales and Relationship Managers on territory planning and events while maintaining CRM records and providing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in financial services, insurance distribution, or related field-facing sales environment.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7, 63, and life/annuities licensing or ability to obtain as required by regulation.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a consistent new business pipeline by building relationships with agencies, agents, advisors, and partner firms.
• Provide proactive outreach and responsive support for quote activity, sales opportunities, product education, and case follow-up.
• Provide product analysis, illustration support, case design guidance, underwriting navigation, and competitive positioning across annuity, life, LTC, and disability insurance solutions.
• Partner with Regional Sales and Relationship Managers on territory planning, strategic account development, advisor engagement, regional events, and field opportunities.
• Independently identify, re-engage, and develop dormant agencies, agents, and advisor relationships to increase activity.
• Onboard and educate new agents and advisors on products, processes, expectations, systems, tools, and support resources.
• Travel within the assigned region to support meetings, training sessions, field events, and joint field work with Regional Manager.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation, pipeline reporting, and follow-up to support territory management and cross-team visibility.
• Collaborate with sales, case management, contracting, operations, and carrier partners to resolve issues and progress cases.
