Job summary

Cetera Financial Group seeks a Field Sales Representative, NFG to develop and grow relationships with agencies, agents, advisors, and partner firms within an assigned territory. The role supports annuity, life, long-term care, and disability solutions with product education and close partnership with Regional Sales and Relationship Managers.

The position is remote and requires up to 25% travel, 3+ years in financial services, FINRA licenses (or ability to obtain), and strong focus on pipeline

Qualifications

• 3+ years in financial services, insurance distribution, life and annuity products, wholesaling, or related field-facing sales environment
• FINRA Series 6 or 7, 63, and life/health/annuity licensing required or ability to obtain per regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of life or annuity products, product illustration and case design concepts, sales pipeline management, and compliance standards
• Ability to travel up to 25% within the assigned region and work independently in a fast-paced sales environment

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a consistent new business pipeline by building relationships with agencies, agents, advisors, and partner firms
• Provide proactive outreach and responsive support for quote activity, sales opportunities, product education, and case follow-up
• Offer product analysis, illustration support, case design guidance, underwriting navigation, and competitive positioning across life and annuity products
• Collaborate with Regional Sales and Relationship Managers on territory planning, advisor engagement, and field events
• Onboard and educate new agents on Cetera Brokerage products, processes, and tools
• Travel within the region to support agency meetings, training sessions, and field events
• Maintain CRM records, pipeline reporting, and activity updates for coordinated territory management
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve advisor experience
