Job summary

Viewline Ventures seeks a self-sufficient engineer to own the internal platform used across operations, finance, and delivery. You will learn the existing systems, document them, and extend them so the company no longer depends on any single person.

You will also build reliable data capture and reporting from agreed definitions, moving critical work from spreadsheets into managed systems with history and accountability.

Qualifications

• Must have prior startup engineering experience.
• Ability to document complex systems clearly for non-technical readers.
• Strong written updates and honest status reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take over and own the internal platform used by operations, finance, and delivery.
• Build data capture and reporting from agreed definitions.
• Migrate spreadsheet workflows into a centralized system with history.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks; repeatedly choose the right work to maximize impact.
• Provide short weekly updates with realistic timelines and alerts.
