Job summary

Antora Energy, a developer of thermal energy storage for industrial power, seeks a Staff/Principal Interconnection & Grid Engineer to own interconnection applications end to end. You will lead studies across MISO, SPP, ERCOT and others, directing consultants and translating technical results into actionable risk and commercial guidance.

You will work with cross-functional teams to de-risk projects early, evaluating sizing, configuration, and cost implications while communicating findings clearly

Qualifications

• 8+ years in power systems engineering and interconnection studies.
• Experience managing interconnection applications through one or more RTOs/ISOs.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems).
• Experience directing external engineering consultants.
• Experience interconnecting storage or large flexible loads.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end interconnection process for Antora projects across multiple RTOs/ISOs.
• Direct consultants performing interconnection studies and SLD development.
• Translate study results into cost, schedule, and project viability guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align interconnection strategy.
• Manage milestones, security postings, and agreements (GIA/LGIA/ISA).
