Job summary

Antora Energy is seeking a Sr Manager or Principal, Interconnection & Grid Engineering to lead end-to-end interconnection processes for thermal energy storage projects across multiple RTOs/ISOs, including MISO, SPP, and ERCOT. This hands-on role owns applications, studies, and de-risking decisions early in project development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in power systems engineering and interconnection studies.
• Experience with one or more RTOs/ISOs.
• Strong knowledge of interconnection processes and tariffs.
• Ability to manage external consultants and de-risk projects.
• Experience interconnecting storage or large flexible loads.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end interconnection process across multiple RTOs/ISOs.
• Direct consultants and oversee studies and SLD development.
• Translate study results into cost, schedule, and project viability.
• Navigate RTO/ISO tariffs and rules and align with internal strategy.
• Manage financial postings, security deposits, milestones, and agreements.
• Early-stage de-risking with site selection and hosting capacity.
• Cross-functional collaboration with transmission strategy, policy, and development teams.
