Hiring: Transmission Planning & Interconnection Manager

We're looking for an experienced engineer to manage interconnection strategy for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects across ERCOT, MISO, and other U.S. markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead interconnection studies, applications, and coordination with ISOs/RTOs and utilities
• Perform power flow modeling, transmission analysis, and economic assessments
• Evaluate congestion, curtailment, and basis risk for project siting
• Support interconnection agreement negotiations and technical documentation
• Develop single-line diagrams and oversee interconnection design
• Track project schedules and coordinate with EPC teams
• Monitor ISO developments and ensure regulatory compliance (NERC, FERC, etc.)

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering (power systems focus preferred)
• 5+ years in transmission planning or market analysis
• 3+ years with tools like PowerWorld, PSSE, PLEXOS, or TARA
• Familiarity with ERCOT and MISO processes preferred
• Strong project management and communication skills
