Job summary

MAS Residency is a 20-week immersive program where recent grads or industry entrants explore experiential marketing with MAS’s creative and technical teams. You’ll research and prototype technology-enabled concepts, helping shape portfolios while collaborating across disciplines.

As an Interactive Resident, you’ll contribute to prototypes, participate in client-ready visuals, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with real-time or interactive tools (TouchDesigner, Unity, Unreal, p5.js, three.js).
• Ability to explain technical ideas to producers, designers, and clients in plain language.
• Understanding how hardware talks to software (sensors, cameras, OSC/MIDI, Arduino).
• Comfort working with agentic AI.
• Interest in crafting user journeys and aligning UX/UI with project goals.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite programs.
• Access to a personal laptop for the 20-week program.

Responsibilities

• Build quick prototypes and proofs of concept using TouchDesigner, Figma, Unity, or web technologies and iterate with the team.
• Support live client projects through asset prep, testing, and on-site setup on show days.
• Write setup and handoff documentation for redeployment or partner handoff.
• Contribute concepts and visuals to RFPs and creative decks.
• Prepare presentations, documentation, and reports for client engagements.
• Help gather data on user journeys and project performance to inform future strategies.
• Participate in a special caps tone project to create a portfolio piece.
• Translate technical ideas into accessible language for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support development of concepts and solutions with innovative technologies and contribute to QA.
• Document emerging technologies and trends aligned with client objectives.
