Cohere Health is hiring a Software Engineer I for the Integrations team to design, build, test, and support healthcare integration systems connecting Cohere Health with providers, payers, and third‑party platforms.

You'll contribute to secure, scalable APIs, event‑driven architectures, and modern distributed systems while working in an autonomous, agile team. This role focuses on interoperability, clinical data exchange, and continuous delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/engineering.
• 1–2 years of software development experience.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable services for enterprise integrations.
• Develop secure integrations with internal/external platforms and third‑party systems.
• Build and support APIs and work with external APIs and data exchange patterns.
• Work with event‑driven architectures, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems.
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and delivery practices.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests; improve testing frameworks.
• Use monitoring, logging, metrics, and observability tools to troubleshoot and improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues; participate in on‑call and operational support.
• Implement secure integrations using authentication, authorization, and API security best practices.
• Collaborate with product, operations, QA, infrastructure, and other teams.
• Participate in planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and agile delivery.
• Contribute to technical documentation and share knowledge across the team.
• Identify opportunities to improve code quality and engineering efficiency.
