Job summary

Constructor.io, an AI-first ecommerce search and discovery platform, is seeking an Integration Engineer to enhance the shopping experience for hundreds of millions of users by delivering first-line technical support to customers as they integrate with our platform.

You will lead onboarding, educate on APIs and libraries, troubleshoot integration issues with Customer Success teams, configure catalogs, and communicate effectively with clients and internal resources.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer support or technical support roles.
• Knowledge of REST-based web services, APIs, and integration best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer support.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding support - Collaborating with customers to understand their technical integration needs and assist them through the integration process
• API and library education - Providing expert guidance on integrating with Constructor's APIs and utilizing open source libraries
• Troubleshooting - Helping resolve technical challenges and integration issues alongside Customer Success teams
• Index configuration - Working with customers to ensure their product catalogs are properly configured, including uploading catalog data, configuring facets, searchabilities, sort orders, and retrieving results
• Communication - Acting as a liaison between customers and other technical resources, responding promptly to inquiries with clear explanations
• Process improvement - Documenting customer interactions, common issues, and solutions, improving integration documentation and customer onboarding
