Job summary

Concierge Home Care in Florida is seeking an Intake Specialist to help patients access home health services. You will process referrals, verify patient and insurance details, and coordinate with hospitals, providers, and the Intake team to ensure a smooth transition into care.

The role is remote with weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM) and requires Florida residency. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour with onboarding and growth opportunities within intake and operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in medical intake or healthcare administration
Experience navigating EMR systems
Experience with insurance verification and eligibility
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage a high volume of information while maintaining accuracy
Florida residency required
Ability to maintain a quiet, professional, HIPAA-compliant home workspace

Responsibilities

Receive and process incoming patient referrals from hospitals, providers, and other referral sources
Verify patient demographics, insurance, and clinical information
Enter data accurately into the EMR and perform insurance eligibility checks
Navigate hospital referral portals and communicate with case managers/discharge planners as needed
Coordinate with internal teams to support timely referral processing and documentation
Maintain patient information in compliance with HIPAA and company policies
Communicate professionally with referral sources, providers, patients, Sales, and Operations
